We welcome Jstn to the Base!
Jstn is familiar to the Overlord of this Base as a long time fan of the sf show Surface (TV-2005). So, it may just be a matter of time before there is a forum on the Surface series here...
Jstn is a prolific and impressive contributor to a number of Boards (in other quadrants
) and there is the hope that he will also add his significant talent to this Base.
Jstn, your membership & secret file has been noted and logged. Proceed to the 'Initiation Chamber' - bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha
(oh wait, I still have to create that... 
).

Hey, I was wondering what was happening with this board. Then I found this nice "welcome" here. Better late than never, eh? Thanks. Sorry to see there hasn't been more activity here. Surface is pretty much dead now, as FaceBook is the Wal-Mart of the net, and has trashed most of the little "mom & pop" boards.
Anyway, it's good to see words from my old and very much missed friend, Bog. You can find me at Surface (sometimes) or on FB as Jstn Green.

Hi Bog - Jst stopped by to see if this board ever took off. Sorry to see that it hasn't done much, however, I have a suggestion for you. I am trying an experiment to see if I can increase SaveSurface.com traffic. I started a new FaceBook page which is linked to the site. I figure since everyone is on FB anyway, they might check that page and in turn might drop by S.S. when they are reminded of it. Hey, it's worth a shot. Anyway, it's easy to set up (and remove, if required) FB pages, so you might do so and "advertise" this site among your FB friends.
