Jimbo Berkey wrote:A significant part of the scientific wisdom for rocket science and space travel came from German scientists like Dr. Werhner von Braun and genius scientist Albert Einstein. Science Fiction in motion pictures was not far behind, and this sci-fi thriller takes elements of known 1963 science to build a story of a Nazi scientist that survived World War II and winds up in Texas where he perfects time travel. First a young cheerleader listening to her transistor radio while showing us her skills with a baton disappears from the face of the earth, and later a reporter and the young girl's older sister are also trapped in time and transported to the mad scientist's evil laboratory. Tim Holt, who plays the top cop in this time travel adventure was a cowboy box office star ten years earlier. It is said that during his cowboy motion picture years that he was the fastest gun in the movies. He could draw his pistol and fire in 5 frames of film - much faster than any other cowboy hero.
This film has to be seen to be believed. A post-war Nazi physicist who is exploring the concept of time travel to bring back Adolph Hitler, sets up his laboratory in a farmhouse in Texas!!! What happened to hiding out in South America with the rest of the gang?
