#39: Fembots in Vegas part 2
Air Date: 10/01/77 written by Arthur Rowe Directed by Michael Preece
In the 2nd part, Jaime tries to prevent the launch of a rocket which contains the super heat ray mentioned in the 1st part, but she fails. The villain, Franklin, now has the ability to destroy large objects from orbit. He demands that the three people who destroyed his father - Jaime, Oscar and Rudy - be sent to him. In this episode, Jaime establishes that she is outmatched by the Fembots; though she does well against them in some of the fighting, she proclaims at one point that she is better off just running away from them. Jaime and the scientist played by James Olson do come up with a counter plan, but the key scene is in the final act when a revelation about Franklin is revealed. I admit that I was surprised when this came around - it was a genuine surprise. There's some cheesy stuff with the super heat ray - Franklin blows up an island at one point, but it looks like stock footage from some cheap sixties flic. BoG's Score: 7 out of 10
