Zapped! (1982)
High School comedy of mostly TV stars of that time with the added element of telekinesis - Scott Baio (Happy Days) is slightly miscast as the science whiz who accidentally gains telekinetic powers. Willie Ames (Eight is Enough) plays his buddy, wanting to use the powers for gain and lecherous purpose. Heather Thomas (The Fall Guy) plays the spoiled brat cheerleader, a rather empty role. I found it amusing when I first saw it in the theater, when I was much younger; nowadays, it's kind of slow and stupid. Some of it reminds me of a couple of old Jerry Lewis fantasies. Other cast include Robert Mandan as the fretful principal and Scatman Crothers as a coach. BoG's Score: 5 out of 10
Zap Trivia: there was a direct-to-video sequel in 1990, Zapped Again!
