Let’s have some science.
The most insane thing about space is the scale of all the crap in it. True story. The size of things and the distances between those things are enormous, and it is almost always awesome to see that represented in some sort of relatable way. Remember when Bill Nye got on his bike and rode a bunch of miles to give us a sense of the actual scale of the solar system? That was awesome. Well here’s another awesome thing:
Some guy named Brad Goodspeed made a video of what other planets would look like if they were all the same distance from the Earth as the moon. Jupiter is, like, whoa, get out of here, so big.
