THE TRAP - episode #8 / production #3 / Air Date: 11/24/68
teleplay by Jack Turley; story by Anthony Wilson; Directed by Sobey Martin
This one really seemed to meander quite a bit and I lost interest about halfway through. It has to do with the little people going after a giant clock. At one point, the two female littles are captured & questioned by a giant. The giant reveals that there are other little people in custody - a fib? (I suppose not - see The Golden Cage). Fitzhugh seems to redeem himself in this episode and is congratulated by his fellow littles.
I noticed a technique here in depicting the giants - they move and speak in this almost-slow motion manner - I guess this was to convey their imposing presence. A giant insect shows up; like other insects or arachnids on the show, it was depicted as too large. BoG's Score: 4.5 out of 10
