episode #14, segment 1: Still Life
#14a: STILL LIFE - written by Gerrit Graham, Chris Hubbell; Directed by Peter Medak
A photographer (Robert Carradine) brings home an ancient trunk; there is also an old camera in there, with undeveloped film taken at the Amazon. The photographer develops the old film. While he is away, the Indians in the photos come to life and stalk the wife. One way to stop them: take a photo of them.
This is the 3rd segment by writers Graham (an actor) & Hubbell and they seem to go for visceral scares. It's not very thoughtful. I was amused by one scene where an Indian uses a potted plant for cover, as if he were in a jungle. BoG's Score: 5.5 out of 10
