Something else about The Road Warrior - the stunts. The stuntmen on this film, much like the characters in the film, were madmen. Modern audiences, watching this film now, have to remember that there was no CGI, no computer FX back then. All that we see on the screen is real - those are real people spinning end over end for what looks like 50 feet. From what I remember, there were more than a few injuries on this picture, some fairly serious. So, as with all the other stuff we mentioned, the stuntwork in this one also set new standards.
