episode #22 - Return of Inidu

This episode was a bit offbeat - it begins with 5 of the little people stuck outdoors in a thunderstorm (first we see of one) and then the rest of the episode takes place in a spooky old house. This house is where the famous (giant) magician Inidu (Jack Albertson) is hiding out; he was sent to prison after one of his magic tricks caused the death of a man (giant). But, being a magician, he quickly escaped He first appears to the little people as a ghost - dressed in a sheet and very dimestore - but soon after shows some impressive powers, including teleportation.

This feat - teleporting the little people at various times - is a product of TV FX (jumpcuts) and is tough to explain as part of a magician's bag of tricks; the only possibility is hypnosis. Inidu can also materialize giant ghostly versions of little people and things like snakes. In the plot, there are a couple of creepy giant teen punks who pester Inidu and threaten the little people, but Inidu quickly scares them off. The main threat is a former protege (Peter Haskell) of Inidu, who is after the magician's secret book and plans to kill him. Not bad as entertainment. BoG's Score: 6 out of 10
