episode #23 - Rescue

Two giant kids fall down a shaft while running after the little people. Though an extensive rescue operation is launched by the giants, they are hampered by their size: any weight will bring down everything. Steve and Dan are captured by Inspector Kobick (Kevin Hagen). The other little people tell the parents (Don Collier and Lee Meriwether) of the trapped kids that Steve & Dan are the best chance for those kids. Unfortunately, Kobick will not release them even for this - until Steve & Dan volunteer, no strings attached.

This episode is a little better than usual, simply for being a bit unusual. Steve & Dan descend into the underground, into what to them is a huge cavern - this probably took quite a bit of expense & work. There's even genuine suspense, as we don't even know if the kids are alive until the two little guys reach them. Then there's the whole question of how Steve & Dan will escape from this situation.
