episode #05, segment 2: Ye Gods
#5b: YE GODS - written by Anne Collins; Directed by Peter Medak
This one is an intentional comedy and attempts to be whimsical, but ends up as just pointless. Since it's the eighties, it deals with a yuppie (David Dukes) who has been targeted by Cupid (Robert Morse). Since this deals with yuppies, even love comes off as shallow and.. pointless. Dukes, a good actor, was better utilized in Rawhead Rex (1986). BoG's Score: 4.5 out of 10
