episode #18, segment 2: Personal Demons
#18b: PERSONAL DEMONS written by Rockne S. O'Bannon; Directed by Peter Medak
This concerns a writer (Martin Balsam, who was in a couple of old TZ episodes) with writer's block. Then he starts to see these short-sized demonic monsters; what do they want? They want him... to write -- about them Essentially a stern letter by the writer to himself... writer's block as physically manifested by demons, yada-yada. BoG's Score: 6 out of 10 for some scary moments - the short creatures recall The Brood (1979) by Cronenberg.
