This is one of the true science fiction concept segments on the show, taking place in some indefinite future. Through hints and remarks, it becomes clear that big government dominates this future society. This may recall the old TZ episode, The Obsolete Man, which featured a totalitarian government. In the plot, a boy is preparing to take some kind of government exam and is cheerfully optimistic about how he will do - he seems quite bright.
The parents, however, seem nervous about this upcoming test; they obviously know something that the boy is unaware of. The ending is very grim and abrupt. I wonder about this future - how

- can a society advance if it enforces such strict guidelines on intelligence levels? Perhaps only certain genius-level individuals are done away with - average & above-average brains are enough to advance a society? Anyway, it's haunting; he seemed like a great kid - but would the parents in such a society really put up with this, simply weeping away their loss?
